SigNoz is an open-source observability platform built on OpenTelemetry. I own cloud operations and am one of the maintainer of
SigNoz Terraform provider. I'm grateful to have worked end-to-end on some of the most interesting and challenging problems of our Platfom.
SigNoz Terraform provider: Extended the provider to provision dashboards via Terraform. [PR](https://github.com/SigNoz/terraform-provider-signoz/pull/39)
Scalability: Horizontally scaled SigNoz cloud X times by creating new, scalable, reliable & fault tolerant K8s clusters that runs yyyy+ SigNoz deployments per cluster.
SaaS: Created version 2 of the provisioning model via FSM, automating the entire lifecycle of a SigNoz deployment
Built Kustomize repositories for the control plane components and SigNoz deployments from scratch.
Identified $XXXX/mo cost-saving opportunities in GCP and migrated disks across the whole cloud to improve query performance.
Setup fine-tuned sharded in-cluster ArgoCD to run 2000+ Applications.
Extended the NGINX Ingress Controller to serve 404 and 503 error pages without an additional pod.
On-call: resolve alerts, perform RCAs for incidents and write resolution playbooks for specific use cases.
ABI was my first job and I learned the principles of DevOps here. My work in K8s guildelines & cloud security was recognised with multiple org-wide awards.
Implemented [Orca Security](https://orca.security/) across the organization single-handedly, driving cross team collaboration, tool hand-off to ops & security team.
Built python-based backend system to create SNOW tickets from security alerts, integrating Orca and ServiceNow
Contributed to build & maintain in-house Terraform modules to comply them with Azure Policy and AWS Config
Created pipelines in Azure DevOps to provision infrastructure & create subscription with policy implementation
Built Terraform scripts for multiple applications to provision the architecture in AWS & Azure
Set up and managed Kubernetes clusters using Terraform, remediated infrastructure security threats using Orca Security.
Built Helm charts and CI/CD pipelines for application deployment to Kubernetes using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
